Custom HTML block, or your page builder's HTML element.
To embed a mortgage calculator on your website, you copy one snippet from your dashboard and paste it where your site builder allows custom HTML. Inline embeds render in an isolated shadow DOM, so your theme can't break the calculator and the calculator can't break your theme. Prefer a button, a floating bubble or a plain link? Those are one click away too.
One element where the calculator should appear, and one script tag. Copy the exact code from your dashboard. It includes your embed key.
Illustrative snippet. The attribute names and script address come from your dashboard and may differ.
<div data-calc="mortgage" data-key="YOUR_EMBED_KEY" data-mode="inline"></div>
<script src="https://app.calccapture.com/embed.js" async></script>| Mode | What visitors see | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Inline | The calculator in the page, isolated from your site's styles | Listing pages, buyer and seller pages |
| Inline in a frame | The same, in an auto-resizing iframe | Builders that only accept iframes |
| Popup button | A button that opens the calculator in a popup | Below a listing description |
| Floating bubble | A corner button on every page | Site-wide access |
| Your own link or button | Any element you choose opens the calculator | Custom designs and menus |
| Direct link | A full-page calculator at its own URL | QR codes, texts, emails, social bios |
| Classic iframe | A plain iframe | Locked-down platforms |
Custom HTML block, or your page builder's HTML element.
Code block or embed element (some plans restrict scripts; iframe mode works where they do).
Embed element, on the page or in a CMS template for listings.
Custom JS/HTML element in the funnel or website builder.
Depends on your provider: many allow custom HTML on property pages, some only links.
No. Inline embeds render inside a shadow DOM, a browser feature that isolates styles in both directions. Your site's CSS doesn't reach into the calculator, and the calculator's CSS doesn't leak out. If isolation isn't possible, the embed falls back to an iframe automatically.
No. Copy the snippet and paste it into your builder's HTML or embed element. The help center has step-by-step guides for each platform.
Use the iframe mode, which most builders accept, or a direct link button that opens the calculator on its own page.
Email clients don't run scripts, so use a direct link or a button image linking to the calculator. The calculator opens in the browser, and leads are captured as normal.
It depends on whether your provider allows custom HTML, scripts or iframes on property detail pages. Check your provider's settings or support. Where they don't, a direct link works everywhere. See IDX websites.
The loader is small and loads asynchronously after your content, and calculators load their own assets only when shown. Use one widget per page rather than many separate embeds.
The calculator is interactive and isn't meant to rank on your page. Your own page copy ranks. Optional server-rendered content is available for advanced setups.
Calculators are keyboard-operable with labeled fields, visible focus and screen-reader-friendly results, and popups close with a visible button or Escape. See accessible embeds.
No. Popups and floating panels have a large visible close button, go full screen on phones and return focus to the button that opened them.
